Dr. Sigal Jacobson and her team use thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped custom-made porcelain to suit the shape and colour of your teeth. The porcelain tooth is then attached onto the front of the teeth to create a beautiful long-lasting smile.
Veneers usually require two visits to complete the process, with little or no anaesthesia required. The teeth are buffed and shaped to allow for the thickness of the veneer. A mould or impression of the teeth is taken and a shade matched to the colour of your natural teeth.
Finally, teeth are cleansed on the second visit with special liquids to achieve a durable bond. Bonding cement is then placed between the tooth and veneer and a special light beam is used to harden and set the bond.
